  • Lars-Erik Lie was born on 19th July 1970, in Norway. When growing up he was reading everything from fairy tales to ghost stories and comic books. In the early 80's, with the VHS entering Norway, he truly discovered the wonderful world of movies.

    He started collecting movies, and was particularly interested in horror films. In 1993 he got his first VHS-camcorder, and in early 1994 he started making short films with some buddies. From 1994-1996 he made 15 short films, with titles like "Random Violence", "The Killing Hand", "Death Before Dishonour", "The Judge", "The Cellar" and many others.

    So, for almost 10 years, up until 2005 he did not make any fictional short films, only martial arts videos, a sports fishing film and some other projects. But in 2006 he returned to the underground movie scene with a black comedy called "Salvation 2: Revenge of AntiChrist". After that he started working on what was to become a full feature film, "The Thrill of a Kill". It was completed in 2011, and released in Norway by Another World Entertainment in 2012.

    After 2011 he have been involved in several short film projects, among them are "Hypnagogia", "Dead Bait", "Close Contact: Kabul, Oslo", a web-series about a serial killer called "Beard" etc.

    Lie have been practicing martial arts since 1990, loves nature, sports fishing, photography and movies. He also likes to write articles and was the leader of Predator Alliance Norway from 2011-2015. He keeps himself busy and have also been working with mentally challenged people since 2000.

    Lars-Erik Lie will continue to promote and create underground movies in the future, and he will be very happy if you have some new, exciting projects for him.

Lie is a true underground-movie maker, doing everything from editing, casting, location scouting, directing, producing and filming. He also enjoys stills photography, loves nature, sports fishing, martial arts and have been collecting movies since the 80's.
