One of Europe’s rising breakout talents, Lena Góra is the breakout star of HBO Max’s espionage thriller The Eastern Gate, the platform’s most-watched non-English language series of 2025, renewed for a second season. Her performance earned her the Best Actress in a Leading Role award at Serial Con 2025, with The New York Times calling her "terrific" and Vulture hailing her turn as "a star-making performance."
Most recently, Góra starred alongside Charli xcx and Jeremy O. Harris in Erupcja, directed by Peter Ohs. Premiering at TIFF, the Warsaw-set film follows two women as they complicate their romantic lives; Góra received stellar reviews, with The Guardian calling her "easily the best of the cast" and The Hollywood Reporter noting that "Góra steals the film whenever we see her alone."
