Biography

Composer (B. 14 September 1922, Istanbul - D. 9 December 1988, Istanbul). She studied at 17th School in Besiktas and Nisantasi Girls' High School. Erten, who worked as a soloist at Ankara Radio between 1938 and 1948, received the title of teacher with an exam held at Ankara Radio in 1948 and worked as a teacher until 1951. When Istanbul Radio was opened in 1951, he went to Istanbul and worked as a soloist-choirmaster at Istanbul Radio until 1982. In the first days of his arrival in Istanbul, he appeared on stage at Kristal Gazinosu in Taksim and gave concerts in at least eight different places in one night during that period.
