In 2005, David made his feature Chay Feet Neechay (in Hindi) based on his original idea. Ironically, in 2009 Hollywood Indie Buried came on the same plot and idea as David's Chay Feet Neechay. This is when he decided to make films for the international audience. His another original idea which is apparently in production titled The Ghost and the Gangster fueled him to move to Hollywood.
