Biography

Brendan Cadigan Weinhold is an award-winning film and stage actor. He works with the communities at ComedySportz Los Angeles, We Make Movies, and the Hollywood Fringe Festival. His wife, Stina Pederson, is the Volunteer Director for the Hollywood Fringe Festival and an accomplished writer. His son, Lochlan, draws and sings and plays with the calculator app on Brendan's phone.

He was born in Seattle, Washington, and grew up on a farm near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a teenager, he acted at First Stage Milwaukee and other regional theaters. He returned to Seattle to study at the University of Washington, where he took his B.A. in Drama, Dance, and German. He spent several years post-college teaching children's theatre at Youth Theatre Northwest. He met Stina at a swing dance in December 2004.

In 2008, Brendan and Stina gave away their belongings and set out on a busking journey, hitchhiking around the country with stilts strapped to their backpacks and juggling balls in their pockets. After stops in New Orleans, San Diego, Chicago, and New York City, they went to Germany, where they taught English for a year, and Stina wrote her first novel.

Upon returning to the U.S. in 2010, Brendan and Stina wed, and moved to Los Angeles, where they now live and work.
