Hailing from the small lakeside town of Gimli, Manitoba, Canada, Trevor developed an interest in filmmaking as a teenager. Some of the outlandish amateur stunt videos filmed with his friends were featured on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Attack of the Show, and The Nature of Things with David Suzuki, to name a few.
The amateur stunt group from Gimli dissolved as they entered their adulthood, but Trevor's interest in filmmaking continued. He studied Acting at The Academy of Broadcasting in Winnipeg in 2011, and began to book independent film jobs in acting, working crew on larger film and TV productions, and also began to write and direct his own short films.
Trevor's short film "Boy Toys" played at dozens of film festivals, and along with other awards, won a Golden Sheaf Award for Canada's Best Short Comedy Film in 2016. Trevor also appeared on CBC's Short Film Faceoff in 2017 presenting "Boy Toys'. In 2017, Trevor directed the short film "Platypus", which was granted funding from Canada's largest short film funding award, BravoFACT.
In 2019, Trevor's film "Party Animal" received the Audience Choice Award at the Canadian International Comedy Film Festival.
