Father Ralph was a radiologist, mother Joan was a teacher.
Graduated from Florida State University in 1993 with a degree in general theater.
Co-founded with his wife Hop on a Cure which is dedicated to raising funds to find a cure for ALS (Amotrophic lateral sclerosis aka Lou Gehrig's disease).
Has three daughters, Sarah Grace and twins Margaret Hope and Lily Faith.
