Biography

Brian White is an artist by nature, with a long creative resume that includes songwriting, recording, website designing, digital editing, editorials, critical reviews and most importantly, screenplays. Although the seeds of his creativity were sowed way back in the 90's during the grunge movement, it was in 2006 when he began writing movie reviews on his personal blog as a way to keep in touch and share his thoughts with friends and family who all know him for being an obsessed movie fanatic. While thinking little of those reviews, people really started to take notice and compliment him on his conversational writing style and how he is analytically able to intelligently get his thoughts across in an understandable, yet entertaining manner. They encouraged him to seek a place where he could get his reviews published. He thought they were all crazy.

Opportunity knocked in 2007 when the owner of the Canadian media website, noticed Brian's homemade movie reviews and asked him if he was interested in writing Blu-ray reviews. While the pay was only in free Blu-ray movies, Brian attacked each and every review ferociously as he knew it was a chance to express his opinions to the world, or at least anybody that would read. It wasn't long before he became the official reviewer of all Universal titles on the site. While taking a shower one fine summer day, a common place where Brian receives his many ideas bestowed upon him from the heavens, he conceived what would later become one of the Top 10 Blu-ray review websites on the Internet. Through the harshest of fire and flames, WhySoBlu? was forged and what started as a way to get free Blu-rays, turned into something unimaginable. Though his hard work ethic and undying dedication to the site was a factor in its ultimate success, he owes many thanks to his fellow writers that contribute daily. The site now employs writers from California, Florida and Ohio as it tackles the latest in Blu-ray movies, theatrical reviews, comics, gaming and more.

The fun doesn't stop there. Brian is missing one important thing in life. Although he has everything a man can ask for, three precious pets (Isis, Jasmine and Anavrin), a supportive family, a beautiful home, steady employment and his dream car, a 2006 Mustang GT Premium named after Jessica Alba's short-lived TV show Dark Angel, there is one thing the guy is still missing and has been searching for his entire life...passion in what he does. Sure there's the website and his arsenal of published editorials and reviews to keep anyone busy for hours on end, but Brian dreams of bigger and better things. Complacency is devastating in his life. Armed with a production team that he would gladly lay down for anyone of them and give his life up for, Brian has sought out to produce a feature film rich in production quality and compelling in story as he has set his sights on knocking down doors in Hollywood. Armed with his talented, loyal and dedicated staff at Darkest Night Productions, he ambitiously aims to push the boundaries of independent filmmaking and make a name for himself and his team with TAKE IT TO THE GRAVE.
