Biography

Nicolas Depetris is a French actor working in French and English across European and international film and television productions.

His screen credits include the TF1 period drama *L’Été 36*, in which he appeared opposite Sam Karmann, as well as French and international independent productions. Berlin has been a recurring part of his acting career: he has taken part in seven screen projects in the city, spanning short and independent films, larger international productions and, most recently, a supporting role in the international series pilot *Bitch!* in 2026. His work in Japan also includes a national commercial campaign for NTT Docomo.

Nicolas trained in Paris at Cours Cochet and began studying the Meisner technique in Berlin in June 2019, continuing through 2020. From 2024 to 2026, he continued his acting training at the Conservatoire de Menton. Having previously lived in Berlin, he continues to return to the city for acting projects and selected professional training.

A native French speaker who works professionally in English, Nicolas has lived and worked across France, Germany and Japan and is currently studying Japanese. This international background has given him a strong familiarity with multilingual and cross-cultural working environments.

Before focusing primarily on acting, Nicolas trained as an architect and developed a parallel career as an oil painter, exhibiting his work across Europe and Japan, including solo exhibitions in Tokyo. These disciplines contribute to a precise and visually aware approach to screen performance, while acting remains the central focus of his professional work.

Nicolas is particularly drawn to psychologically layered characters: intelligent professionals, figures of authority, outsiders and antagonists whose apparent composure conceals deeper emotional tension. He is especially interested in drama, thrillers, crime, historical productions and international co-productions.
