Lorenzo Anderson

Lorenzo Anderson is an American Director, actor and Producer. In 1986 Lorenzo gave up a promising career as a Certified Public Account to pursue his dream of being in the entertainment biz. His first venture was starting the record label with his ex-wife Alida. The label received success producing House music artists including Keith Thompson the singer on the hit song "Break 4 Love" . In 2000, Lorenzo completed his first screenplay, The Platinum Ladder. The film which highlights his transformation from account to record producer was set for production just 6 months after 9/11 but due to the tragedy he decided to shelve the project due to the fact that the accounting firm that Lorenzo had worked at was located on the 100th floor of 1 WTC one of the main backdrops for the film. Now 40 years after his venture into the entertainment biz, Lorenzo is set to produce and Star in the series, Platinum Dreams. The storyline is the sequel to that of The Platinum Ladder and follows the career of Jason Thomas, owner of a record label who is set to celebrate his 25th year in the biz. The series is dedicated to his Father who died in 1990 after battling with prostate cancer for 10 years. Lorenzo considers this his final project before officially retiring from the biz. He says "40 years of being in the biz has been a roller coaster but I have no regrets. This will be my final chapter as I battle with my own illness." I’ve inherited my Fathers genes but also his will to survive and succeed and Platinum Dreams will be my way of saying "THANK YOU DAD" The series is set to stream on Lorenzo’s streaming platform VOLUME in late 2026.
