Zachary Steven Merrick is the bassist and back up vocals for the band
All Time Low. While still in high school, Zack Merrick was recruited
into the band All Time Low in 2003 by band mates Alex Gaskarth-Lead
vocals/lyricist/backup guitar and Jack Barakat-guitar along with
drummer Rian Dawson. In February 2006, the band was signed to their
record label, Hopeless Records.
He can usually be spotted by his nose ring, numerous tattoos, crazy hair; that he changes often, and is usually the shirtless band member.
When Alex sings at acoustic shows, Zack is usually the one playing guitar.
Zack was featured on an episode of MTV's Exposed in August 2007, in a faux hawk and famous green, sleeveless All Over It hoodie. Needless to say, he won at the end.
Zack was also the first in the band to be featured on bigdouchebag.com. Soon after, the rest of the band was featured, including band manager Matt Flysik. They all found it very humorous, and mentioned it at many of their shows.
According to himself and Rian in a buzznet video, Zack feels tortured when listening to bands such as Creed and Metro Station.
