Biography

Alex B. Martin is a Montreal-based director working across feature documentaries, docu-series, travel/adventure television, and fiction. Trained in acting in Montreal and in film at UCLA, his career has been largely shaped by international productions, with projects filmed in over 75 countries and more than 70 hours of television directed worldwide.

His work explores intimacy, human relationships, and real encounters, blending observational storytelling with a focus on social dynamics. His first fiction feature, Cuba Merci-Gracias, premiered at the FNC and was released theatrically in 2019.
