Lacey Creighton

Lacey Creighton is a Canadian actor based in Toronto, Ontario. Born in Brantford, she relocated to Toronto to pursue formal training in theatre, earning an Advanced Diploma in Theatre Performance from Humber Polytechnic. She was subsequently selected as one of eight artists awarded a full scholarship fellowship to York University, where she completed a Master of Arts in Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies. She continues her academic work at the pre-doctoral level, cultivating a practice that intersects performance, critical theory, and contemporary culture.

Rooted in experimental theatre, Creighton brings a disciplined, deeply embodied approach to screen performance, marked by psychological precision and emotional restraint. She first drew critical attention for her portrayal of Amanda Knox in Global Television’s dramatization of the case, a performance noted for its quiet intensity and nuance. Her screen work includes collaborations with acclaimed filmmakers such as Alexander Payne and Jason Eisner, appearing alongside Matt Damon, Christoph Waltz, and the late Udo Kier in Downsizing (2017), as well as with Matty Matheson in Born to Lose (2026).

Creighton is widely recognized for her leading work in the Canadian Screen Award-nominated and award-winning series Dark Side of the Ring (Seasons 4-7), where she portrays complex real-life figures with authority and depth, including Sunny and Missy Hyatt. She also appears in The Greatest (2026), the forthcoming series on Muhammad Ali produced by his estate.
