- Tarek Tohme is a graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts and Marshall School of Business, where he was a recipient of the university's highest honor: the 4-year, merit-based, full-tuition Trustee Scholarship. Graduating Phi Beta Kappa at the top of his class, he runs Stone Canyon Pictures in Los Angeles, focusing on the production of premiere feature films and documentaries. Tarek is a director, writer, producer, actor, martial artist, and former stunt performer, whose feature directorial debut Hold On (2019) was acquired immediately upon completion and released theatrically (in a shortened theatrical format) to wide media attention before the COVID pandemic. The original director's cut is now being prepped for a wide streaming release. Possessing over a decade of experience in all phases of the filmmaking pipeline, his other credits include In Dubious Battle (2016) starring Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Selena Gomez, and Bryan Cranston, The Labyrinth (2017), and Don Quixote (2015). As someone who strives to learn and evolve with every day, Tarek aims to fill a void in the film and music industries with his work, while bridging broader cultural horizons between America and his roots in the Arab world.
