Shawn Rech is a nine-time Emmy Award-winning documentary director and producer. He is the executive producer of "Takedown with Chris Hansen" (To Catch A Predator), "Cops Under Fire" and "Crime Stoppers Case Files." He has created films that document wrongful convictions and over-sentencing. Three of his project's subjects have been released from prison. He also frequently examines the role of journalism in the justice system.
His first film, "A Murder in the Park" (Showtime/Netflix) was named to Time Magazine's list "The 15 most fascinating true crime stories ever told."
Shawn serves as president of the TruBlu Crime Streaming Network, which he co-founded with Chris Hansen.
