Cyril Höschl was born on 12 November 1949 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He was married to Jitka Stenclová. He died on 21 April 2025 in the Czech Republic.
Höschl was a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague, worked at the Psychiatric Research Institute in Bohnice. After November 1989, he was the Dean of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University.
