Jess Elgene

Jess Elgene is a comedian, writer, and actress residing in New York. She trained with the Upright Citizens Brigade and Second City. In 2022, Elgene was named a Content Creator to Watch at the New York Comedy Festival. As a member of the Main Stage company of Asylum NYC, Elgene performed with the likes of Colin Mochrie (Whose Line...?), Roy Wood Jr. (The Daily Show), Jo Firestone (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), Ceara O'Sullivan (SNL), and more. She has individually opened for ALOK and her solo show, Less of a Man, has played to sold out audiences through New York and varies cities across the US. Elgene's play, Navelgazing, has received an Off-Broadway reading, and her annual show, Texas Pride: Everything's Gayer in Texas, raises money for LGBTQ+ affirming organizations in her home state of Texas. Elgene can regularly be seen performing stand-up, original music, characters, sketch, and improv.
