Trevor McWhinney's passion for film and television ignited at a young age, including volunteering at Roger's Cablevision and doing an internship at BCTV while still in high school. Determined to deepen his craft, he relocated to Vancouver and graduated near the top of his class from the highly regarded Vancouver Film School.

Trevor's dedication and strong production skills opened opportunities for him, and he began directing and producing commercials and music videos that aired internationally and received award nominations. Trevor's career has taken him across the globe, including working on feature films in Romania, South Africa, and Croatia. His innovative vision brought to life the television series "Gotta Grudge?", which aired in 12 countries and earned him a deal on the hit series Dragon's Den.

Since joining Lighthouse Pictures at its inception, Trevor has produced over 50 movies, cementing his status as a prolific and influential figure in the industry. His creative touch shines as the Creative Producer of some of Hallmark's biggest hits, including Three Wise Men and a Baby, Three Wiser Men and a Boy, Santa Tell Me, and Sugarplummed. These projects have become holiday favorites, showcasing his ability to create heartwarming, memorable stories.

Trevor continues to develop and produce projects in all genres, and thrives as part of Lighthouse Pictures, collaborating with a talented team to deliver exceptional movies and television content.
