- Marat Berdyyev is a British actor who worked in such films as "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit," "World War Z" and a BBC series "Ambassadors."
He played Brad Pitt's main antagonist in the original cut of "World War Z" and was known among the crew as "the scariest man in the movie, including the zombies."
Before moving to the UK Marat starred as a main character in "Sarancha" (Locust), a major criminal drama series in Kazakhstan, and won a National Radio Presenter of the Year award for his morning prime time show.

- Marat's father Kurban is a renowned football manager who led his team "Rubin Kazan" to two back-to-back Russian Premier League titles and famously beat Guardiola's Barcelona at Camp Nou in Champions League. As a child, Marat traveled extensively following his father, who played for different football teams in Russia and different parts of Asia.
