Jeissy Trompiz was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. He studied film direction and scriptwriting at EICTV (Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV). He has been related to theatre, photography, and literature before starting his career as a director, which is why he uses experiments with narrative and aesthetics in his films.
He also directs narrative films, where he explores different acting techniques with the actors that collaborate with him.
