Biography

Keith Martin was born in the west of Ireland and developed his passion for acting and storytelling in childhood.

He has appeared in both TV shows and feature films in a variety of supporting roles.

He has won numerous prizes for his short scripts and has enjoyed writing residencies at both the Tyrone Guthrie Centre and the Heinrich Boll Cottage on Achill island.

Trained as journalist and later worked as a librarian in his hometown.

Elected to his local town council in 2009 he served as Deputy Mayor of his hometown from 2009/2010.
