- Teresa Hui was born on March 29, 1981 in New York City, New York, USA. She is an actress and producer, known for Hacks (2021), Helpsters (2019) and Power Book II: Ghost (2020).
- Sang at Carnegie Hall as a member of the 1999 All-Eastern Honors Chorus, along with actress Anne Hathaway.

- Won a spot to perform for Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater in 2010. She performed "Dream a Little Dream of Me" by Mama Cass on tenor ukulele and sang, and was backed by the Apollo House Band, led by Ray Chew (musical director for season 10 of "American Idol"). Result: 3rd Place Winner. She was brought back for the "Show-off" round where her Apollo journey ended via "execution".
