Biography

Demitri was raised in Los Angeles County, California. His father is a psychologist and his mother works for a corporate law firm. He has stated that he always felt "out of place" to a degree due to his love of things that were not shared with many of his peers at the time, one of them being his passion for the arts! During his early childhood he enjoyed and participated in organized sports such as soccer, basketball, and track for school and the city. During high school he was one who enjoyed time with friends, as well as his family, in stead of the usual partying every weekend he states the majority of his peers were into. An honor student in high school, he took advance classes, was involved in organized sports, did after-school programs, such as weekly visits to visit the sick and elderly in homes, and participated in annual Rotary Speech competitions, which he was awarded for every year. This was done all the while when he would venture to his Studio every Saturday morning and missing class whenever he was sent out on auditions. He attended one of the top junior colleges in the country. An honor student at his current institution, he is studying to transfer to a four-year university, or UC! He states that he is going to school because of the foundations his parents instilled in him from a very early age, which he continually expresses is "the best thing" his parents ever did for him. He plans on transferring to University where he will focus on Drama as well as science, particularly Environmental. He was involved in an on-campus environmentalists club known as E.A.G.L.E. for approximately a year and a half! As of now his time is generally filled with school, acting, and physical fitness. He attends the gym once a week and is a big fan of eastern mindfulness traditions-he practices deep breathing meditation any chance he gets. His plans for the near future are to keep building his career.
