- Dheeraj Jindal is a Mumbai-based filmmaker working across fiction, non-fiction and advertising. A postgraduate in film, his fiction debut, The School Bag (2017), starring Rasika Dugal and Sartaaj RK, travelled to 106 international festivals across 24 countries and won 44 awards, including multiple Best Director honours.
He went on to direct acclaimed shorts including Momo Deal, Baj Gai Seeti, Vikalp and Trapped, featuring actors such as Anushka Kaushik, Gulshan Grover, Neha Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee. Trapped qualified for the Academy Awards.
Dheeraj later moved into long-form storytelling, directing Netflix India's Indian Predator: The Diary of a Serial Killer, based on the Raja Kolander case.
As a producer, he has backed award-winning films including Sorry Bhaisaab, Anahut and Katran.
