- Born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Kazi was exposed to the colorful world of arts and culture from an early age. His interest on film making grew after watching The Godfather by Francis Ford Capolla.
His student film, This Thing of Ours [2009], was selected and screened at the Dhaka International Short Film Festival in 2010. His documentary, In Search of Soul [2011] was premiered at the Shoreditch Film Festival in London. The film won awards in the Best Documentary and Best Editing categories.
With a diploma in Digital Film making and a BA (Hons.) in Film making from SAE Institute London, Kazi returned to Bangladesh and started his own production house, Kaharba Productions.
