- Brittney Grabill is a producer, director, and actor working between Los Angeles and Edmonton, Alberta. Originally from Edmonton, she began making films at an early age and made her directorial debut with the short film *Chocolate Cake* (2017), which received funding through Telus Storyhive. The film later premiered at the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival, and Brittney was featured on KTLA during Oscar week as part of a female filmmaker initiative.
Since then, Brittney has continued to build a career across independent film, television, and commercial production, working in roles including producer, assistant director, and production coordinator. She has worked on television and commercial productions in Los Angeles and recently completed UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television’s Professional Program in Producing, a graduate-level program focused on film and television development, financing, physical production, marketing, and distribution.
Her latest short film, Sylvan Lake, was filmed in Alberta and brings together Canadian and Los Angeles-based collaborators.
