Biography

Aleksander D'Avignon is a film and theater actor from San Diego, CA. He is the drummer for the band "Doc Hammer" and an acting Coach at The Los Angeles Acting Studio - San Diego.

He has been an actor since age 10 starting in musicals and theater productions and at age 19 he left the US to study religion abroad as a missionary in England and Tanzania. Upon his return he decided to pursue an acting career alongside co-forming the punk band "Doc Hammer". The band has since released multiple singles, EPs, and Full Length albums, as well as completed 6 US tours. He has been studying Hybrid-Meisner technique at The Los Angeles Acting School in San Diego since 2016 and became an Acting Coach at the school in 2023.

He now lives in Point Loma with his partner Erica and their dog Uzi. His time outside of film, theater, and punk music is spent reading plays, watching the San Diego Padres continue to remain Championship-Free, writing listless and insufferable poetry and prose, and getting lost in the worlds created by writers such as: Martin McDonagh, Cormack McCarthy, Tracy Letts, James Ellroy, and Sam Shepard.
