Mel Chude is a captivating actor and creative whose journey began in Detroit, where he attended Osborn High School. Drawn to storytelling from an early age, he moved to New York City to study theater while simultaneously launching a career in print modeling. His creative path later brought him to Los Angeles, where he continued to build a diverse career across film and television. Over the years, Mel has appeared in productions including Law & Order: SVU, Magic Mike XXL, the FOX limited series Shots Fired, as well as Chicago Med and Chicago P.D.. Today, Mel stars as Kellan in the ALLBLK original drama series Jupiter Jones, which follows a sharp-witted lawyer navigating scandals, conspiracies, and powerful adversaries. The series premiered in May 2026. Grounded by his Detroit roots and shaped by experiences in New York and Los Angeles, Mel continues to build a career defined by authenticity, versatility, and a passion for meaningful storytelling.
