Joerg Arnu grew up in Germany where he obtained a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and started his career as software developer. He co-founded a very successful company developing revolutionary control software and hardware for large remote controlled stage lights that was used in major live concerts and discotheques all over Europe.
In 1995 Joerg moved to the United States and continued his career in Silicon Valley and later in Las Vegas, becoming a U.S. citizen in 2002.
A lifelong interest in aviation and his natural curiosity first brought Joerg to the gates of Area 51 in 1998. Recognizing the lack of credible information about the secret base Joerg soon started a web site with information he gathered while exploring the area. The web site, named Dreamland Resort after the radio call sign of the restricted airspace, soon attracted many fellow Area 51 enthusiasts who helped make Dreamland Resort the largest resource for information about Area 51.
Today Joerg is a 25-year Area 51 research veteran, living in Rachel, NV, just outside the gates of Area 51. His Dreamland Resort web site is all about the military R&D aspect of Area 51, Black Projects and Military Aviation. Over the years Joerg has appeared in numerous Area 51 documentaries and TV shows. He has also contributed material and his expertise to dozens of productions.
In late 2022 Joerg's work was officially endorsed when FBI and USAF OSI raided two of his residences, stealing over $20,000 of equipment and causing $6,000 in damage. Despite the blatant effort to silence him Joerg continues his research into the secrets of Area 51, publishing his findings on his Dreamland Resort web site.
