Chris Gowen is a former LAPD Detective and U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force operator turned entrepreneur, inventor, and actor. A veteran of high-stakes law enforcement, Gowen served as a Los Angeles Police Department Detective and as a member of a U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, where he conducted tactical surveillance and apprehension operations targeting violent offenders. Earlier in his career he also worked with the U.S. Veterans Initiative, supporting homeless veterans. In 2015 he founded Directional Force, a lifestyle and performance brand focused on athletic gear, weight vests, ruck packs, and related equipment. As an inventor he holds multiple patents (including six in sports safety and joint support technology) aimed at improving protection and performance for athletes and active individuals. As an actor, Gowen’s credits include Giant Killer and Wonderland. He also starred in the television pilot Border Patrol, a cop drama filmed along the South Texas border that featured John Schneider (The Dukes of Hazzard).
