Biography

Jennifer Bales is a writer, director and editor known for Risk My Mind (2011). Jennifer has also directed, produced and edited advertisements for Australian businesses. From 2012 to 2014 she wrote and starred in weekly comedic sketches on YouTube. In 2015 Jennifer wrote and published her first book titled "How To Hack Your Retail Job".

Founded the film production company JunkStar Productions in 2007.

Jennifer's younger brother Simon Bales has composed the music for many of her experimental online videos as well as composing the soundtrack for her short film Risk My Mind.

Planned to pursue acting as a career after studying it throughout high school and after graduation. However she moved away from this path when she realised she had a much greater desire to write and direct for film and television.
