Biography

Ian Mills Miller is an award-winning director, visual effects artist and 3D creative whose work spans directing, VFX, CGI, motion design, title design and cinematic world-building across film, television, music and commercial media. He began his career in New York at Partizan, working alongside director Michel Gondry, before building a multidisciplinary career in directing, visual effects and design. His recent VFX work includes Aurora, selected for the 2026 HollyShorts Film Festival, as well as the latest music video from Grammy nominated metalcore band August Burns Red. Miller continues to develop narrative and commercial work that blends strong visual storytelling with high end technical execution.
