Melissa Jane Rodriguez

Melissa Jane Rodriguez grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and is of Filipino and Spanish descent. She holds a B.A. in Theatre Performance from San Diego State University and studied Drama and Physical Theatre in Canterbury, England. Her acting career includes an award-winning performance as the lead actress in Dyed (2014) and a Best Actress award in Sinigang (2022). In 2013, she won the Miss Binibining Pilipinas USA Tourism title, which allowed her to travel to the Philippines to meet the president as an Ambassador for Tourism. In 2014, she joined Asians On Film, hosting interviews for their media outlet. She co-founded and owns Bandit Filmworks, where she produces commercials, content for clients nationally, and short films.
