Maria Tanjala is a former 1st AD, line producer, and producer, and is now co-founder of FilmChain. She is an EFA and BAFTA voting member.
FilmChain CAM, launched in 2018, has become a leading CAM (collection agent) on the international market, leveraging financial technology to accelerate revenue disbursement and increase transparency. Maria Tanjala is leading the team managing financial recoupment for hundreds of films, for clients including mk2, Anonymous Content, XYZ, HBO, WME, Hanway, Bankside, Protagonist, Film i Vast, and Eurimages. She has been mentoring on recoupments and technologies at BIFA Springboard, Inside Pictures, ACE Producers Network, Erich Pommer Institut, Cannes Producers Network, and EFM Horizon, among others.
