Hugo Teugels is a multi-award-winning Belgian independent filmmaker-writer, director, producer, cinematographer, editor, and sound designer-known for visually poetic short films that merge dream-like imagery with precise sound-driven storytelling. Working under his banner TVP Services - Video Art Productions, he has built a body of work that balances cinematic mood, symbolic visuals, and emotional undercurrents, often exploring identity, memory, myth, and the tension between beauty and unease. In 2025, Teugels explored this "hybrid vision" to push the project’s visual poetry further-integrating A.I.-augmented artistry while maintaining the cinematic grammar of live-action storytelling. A hybrid cut premiered at the Marbella International Film Festival, where it received Best A.I. Generated Film, confirming the project’s ability to evolve without losing its emotional and mythic core. That evolution ultimately culminated in the upgraded short film When Cassandra Venice Speaks, completed at the end of 2025 and launched into its official festival run from January 2026 onward.
