Aziz Al-Dilaimi NSC, is an Amsterdam based director of photography. He was born in Tripoli, Libie and grew up in the south of the Netherlands. From both parents he carries the Iraqi descent.
From a young age he's been educated with western art history this combined with the technical skills he mastered during his vocational training in digital cinema and editing created a base for his study Cinematography at the Netherlands Film Academy, where he graduated in 2015
A diverse palette of influences combined with the search for identity is seen back in the choice of the first feature films Aziz has shot, Femi (2022), White Berry (2022) and Torch song (2022).
