James Yamagami Scullion grew up in Tokyo, Japan, where he developed interests in theater, story, music, and technology. Upon earning a BFA in Sound Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), he relocated to Los Angeles in 2013 and works in sound for film, television & video games.
In 2023, he began casting, voice directing and writing for English localization with The Days (2023).
He is most recently known for his work on The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf (2021), A Million Little Things (2023), You (2023), The Parades (2024), and Thank You Next (2024).
