Valéry Lessard was born in Montreal, Québec. She studied the Meisner Technique in Montréal under Jacqueline McClintock. She then completed the two-year professional training program at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City.
Beyond acting, she and her partner founded Sow the Seeds Productions in 2014, as a vehicle for making their own films that inspire and entertain.
