Her film, Forsworn a sapphic fantasy romance, has won multiple awards across film festivals and has garnered over 2 million views online.

In 2019, Piéra wrote, produced and starred in the adaptation of the multi-award-winning. fantasy novel Nevernight by best-selling author Jay Kristoff as part of Screen Australia's Skip Ahead Initiative.
