Biography

Mark Christian is an ICG Local 600 Cinematographer based in Los Angeles, CA.

Mark has shot numerous feature films which have received critical praise; LA Times described his work on GAME OF ACES (DP) as "Handsomely shot." Universal Pictures released TWO YELLOW LINES (Cam Op/Gaffer), which was called a "Visual Feast" by Film Threat and was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2022 Next Generation Indie Film Awards. CARDINAL MATTER (DP) was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2015 Maverick Movie Awards. In 2017, Mark was in the Academy Award-nominated VFX department as a Motion Capture Camera Operator on WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES.

Mark frequently works as a DP for Atlantic Records, making content for artists such as Lizzo, Kelly Clarkson, Charlie Puth, and more. He collaborates with MOTORTREND on their Branded Content and Original Programming. THE FINAL NIGHTS (DP) was an Official Selection at the 2016 Cannes International Film Festival and in 2012, his senior thesis film, REQUITED (DP), was a finalist in the 39th Annual Student Academy Awards.

When Mark isn't on set, he's probably on a mountain.
