- Funny girl and Shoe Queen Emily Redenbach hails from Perth, Western Australia, though you wouldn't know it to hear her speak! Quirky, and versatile in a range of accents including her native dialect, British, cockney, Irish, Russian and Standard American English, she works in Film, Television and Voiceover in Los Angeles.
After moving to Texas to get her BFA in Theatre, building a substantial resume of shows and graduating with departmental honors, she moved to LA and spent over a decade working in market research with Nielsen. At the same time, she trained in improv with UCB, joined SAG/AFTRA, Australians in Film, and Woodley Park Archers where she continues to train with Olympic an instructor. She also trains with Swordplay LA studying functional film fighting, swordplay, and other weapons.
Emily has produced and starred in three short films; Wasn't Planning on It with Madison McLaughlin, Average Beautiful Normal People and most recently The Copier with David Dean Bottrell and Ruth Williamson. Her work in the cast of The Copier was nominated for Best Ensemble at the Sayville International Film Festival. She’s also worked on projects such as Away, The Revivals and Birthday Cake with Chad Darnell. In her spare time she cheers on the LA Kings, even writing about them professionally for six years.
