Vanessa was raised in a small town in upstate New York. During her junior
year of high school she was accepted into the National High School
Institute of Theatre (the Cherub Program) at Northwestern University.
The experience changed her life and started her trajectory ever-upward.
Although acting called her (she continued to take acting and voice
classes) she attended Cornell University and graduated with a Bachelors
of Science. She moved to Washington, DC and worked
for a Fortune 100 company before returning back home to go to law
school. During school she booked numerous regional commercials out of
Pittsburgh, PA. Finally, after practicing for two years as an attorney
in New York, she took off for Hollywood where she immediately began
working in commercials and short films.
