[on The 33 (2015)] It was the greatest movie experience I've ever had. People always ask me about this movie. More than 80 actors from Hollywood, Europe, Latinos and Chile and more than 900 extras in Colombia and Chile. I traveled 3 times more than 6.000 kilometers between the city of Concepción in the south and the city of Copiapó in the north to participate in the casting and after filming. It was hard but I would do it again, the Atacama desert is very beautiful. I meet actors that I admired and never thought I would meet as well as the talented production team. I made a lot of friends in the movie business that I still keep in touch with. I only had a few seconds left in the final cut but for me (and my family) it was the the greatest happiness and emotion to see myself on the big screen. A unique and unrepeatable experience, an honor for which I will always be grateful.

There are so many types of audiences like actors, directors and screenwriters, it's just a matter of finding your kind.

[on Omar Sharif] Somehow he was my role model as an actor and person. I felt great admiration for his lifestyle and the film era in which he lived. Fortunately I don't play bridge.

[on working on independent films] Starting with Hidden in the Woods (2012) and Huesos Rotos (2014) and movies like that, I've been doing this for 10 years. The basis of my career is in Chilean independent cinema as an extra and supporting actor, something of which I feel very proud. Every actor should start in independent cinema and learn and learn.

[About his visit to the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, France 2024] It was a beautiful visual and sensory experience that gave me many emotions. France is the mecca of cinema and Cannes with its beauty and glamour it was a life time experience without a doubt.
