Timothy Ray Brown was born on March 11, 1966 in Seattle, Washington, USA. He died on September 29, 2020 in Palm Springs, California, USA.

Known in the press as "The Berlin Patient" he was the first person to be cured of HIV after he received a bone marrow transplant from a donor who was naturally resistant to HIV in 2007.
