Dr Iram Qureshi is a British Film & TV Producer, Director, Author and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK (FHEA). Her new book, Wendy Toye (2026), about a pioneering British woman film director has been published by Manchester University press.
She is a Senior Lecturer Film and TV in Ravensbourne University London and also worked for Cambridge University as an assistant examiner since 2011. Iram’s PhD from Brunel University London was in British Cinema and Television focusing on women film directors. She also holds MSc degree in Communication Sciences (major in TV Productions) and BA in Journalism.
She is the winner of Best Film Producer in New York Movie Awards and Big Syn International Film Festival, London 2021; Gold Award for Production Design and Best Feature Film at the Hollywood Gold Awards 2021; Best Talk show at PTV Awards 2002.
Iram was a Finalist in Brunel University Alumni Award for producing Best Feature Film, and was nominated for Best Female Producer including Toronto International Women Film Festival 2021 and LA Independent Women Film Awards 2021.
