After police were tipped off by
Cecelia Pierce that Lattime,
Billy Flynn,
Raymond Fowler, and
Patrick Randall killed
Greg Smart at the behest of
Pamela Smart, Smart and her accomplices were arrested and tried for murder. Lattime gave Flynn the gun used to kill Smart from his father's gun collection, and drove the getaway car. Lattime was released from New Hampshire State Prison on parole in 2005.
