Biography

Tyler Atkins is an Australian writer, director, and producer.

He made his feature debut with Bosch & Rockit (Ocean Boy, 2022), which he wrote, directed, and produced. The film premiered internationally, won the Grand Jury Prize at the Mammoth Film Festival, and marked the beginning of his work in feature filmmaking.

For the past three years, Atkins has been focused on his second feature, Beast in Me, a combat-sports MMA drama developed for theatrical audiences. The film is based on a script co-penned by Russell Crowe, who also stars in the project. Developed over several years, the film was led by Atkins from its earliest stages and carried through development, production, and post-production under his direction.
