- IMDb mini biography by: Luca Elliot Sanderson - Avicii (Tim Beling) is a Swedish DJ and music producer. He started his career by remixing the theme song from the video game Lazy Jones, and later recorded his own track 'Lazy Lace', which was soon released on Strike Recordings. After winning the Pete Tong's Fast Trax award, Avicii received many offers and in April 2008 released the track 'Manman' on Tong's Bedroom Bedlam label. In the fall of 2011, his single 'Levels' became an international hit: in the UK, Austria and Germany it managed to enter the top ten, and in his native Sweden the DJ took the top spot for the first time. This track was also the basis for Flo Rida's song 'Good Feeling', which enjoyed great popularity all over the world and occupied leading positions in the music charts.
On September 13, 2013, he released his debut studio album True, which received platinum certifications in many countries. On October 2, 2015, he released his second studio album, Stories.

- I have always been mainstream. It's so weird, because I don't see it as something negative at all. So many people see it as something negative.
- When I started working on electronic music, that was after the rave period. I haven't even seen that part of it that much.
- Originality is definitely missing from EDM. There are people looking for it and exploring but I feel it's so big now it is just getting milked. House music is losing all its melody as it becomes more about how dirty the drop is and how energetic it is. It loses touch with what music really is.
- I actually only started listening to house music around the time I started making it. I got hooked both to making music and to house music.
- For me there are two types of country: There's the shoot-yourself-in-the-head country, and then there's really good country music.
