Amy Miner
- Writer
- Producer
Amy Miner has been a long-time educator, teaching secondary English and theatre classes and directing productions for over 30 years. With an MA in English and an MFA in Theatre, her background was primarily theatrical until, in 2011, she co-wrote a short film with Yana Alliata, Requiem for Emily. Thus began their series of collaborations. A native of South Dakota, Miner retired from her high school classroom in 2022. She continues to teach in the M.Ed. program at Mount Marty University, and she teaches performing arts and stop motion animation to adults with disabilities in her community. She and her beautiful wife, Julie, co-parent three elderly rescue animals and are restoring their yard into native prairie habitat for pollinators. Who knew life could be this good?
