Raymond Ramon Sebido Tuquero is a cinematographer and director of photography with over 20 years of experience in visual media. He has collaborated with renowned brands and led diverse crews across corporate, commercial, and scripted narrative productions.
Beyond his work on set, Raymond is passionate about education and mentorship. He serves as a course instructor in camera, lighting, and cinematography at the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT) and the Toronto Film School (TFS). He is also a proud Associate Member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC), where he volunteers as Co-Chair of the CSC Diversity Committee, advocating for greater access and opportunities for underrepresented communities within the cinematography profession.
Raised in a military family; with a father in the U.S. Armed Forces and a mother who worked as a traveling nurse; Raymond grew up living around the world. These formative experiences shaped his ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and adapt to demanding environments. He brings this collaborative and flexible mindset to every production, fostering positive energy, trust, and unity on set.
Now based in Toronto, Raymond lives with his wife Meghan, their children Adalynn and Lincoln, and their dog Sadie. As he continues to seek new opportunities within Canada’s vibrant film industry, he remains committed to lifelong learning, meaningful collaboration, and telling stories that resonate.
